Drop dead beauty. This is how I would describe Emma in this photo shoot.
Emma has beautiful blond hair, great facial feature, and she looks absolute gorgeous in her beauty shots. However, I can see a different kind of beauty in her, so we decided to try something new in this shoot.
We transformed a beautiful next door blond girl into a seductive woman with great charm and mystery.
I would like to thank Emma for doing such a wonderful job to show her beauty with coldness and mystery, and also our wonderful team who did an excellent job in this transformation. Here are some pictures:

Welcome to Portland, Oregon, Katie and Warren! This couple just moves here from a warmer and bigger city--Orlando, Florida. Welcome!
When the couple contact me for their engagement pictures, they were kind of worry about the weather, they would like to do it outdoor, however it doesn’t seem like we will get any sunshine in these couple weeks.
Where can I find a beautiful place for outdoor pictures without getting wet? St. John’s Bridge is the first thing come to my mind. I remember my first time to the St. John’s was at night with a friend, when I first saw the bridge; I fell in love with it. Even though I went there for so many times, I m still attracted by its magnificent design, the beauty stays no matter day or night, sunny or rainy day. That’s why the St. John’s Bridge is a popular place for engagement and wedding picture.
Katie and Warren have known each other for 9 years; they are best friend and also a caring lover to each other. Although I only know them for 2 hours, I can totally feel the love and caring between them.
I think this is not easy to find the right person in your life, if you have found one, don’t let them go easily. Cherish the love.
I would like to give my best wishes to the couple. Again, congratulation, Katie and Warren, it was my pleasure to work with you two. Here are some pictures:

The sky has no limit, especially in art. As an artist, you have to keep your mind fresh all the time. Learning is the best way to improve.
I think I m quite sensitive with the light, I know I do fine, but there are so many different way to do lighting, lot of techniques to learn, if you got it just right, you will create some amazing pictures. As I always think lighting is the main key in photography, it makes a big different in a picture, create different moods, tell different stories.
Here are some snapshot at my pro lighting class with Alan M Thornton. We got so many thing to learn, but too little time. The workshop was great, I learned a lot, enjoyed the great time. Everyone in this class have great attitude, lots of energy..AND.. we all love coffee!! :)
It was nice meeting them all.
PS: Alan's work is very inspiring, I like them a lot.

Do you like spicy food? Do you like Chinese food? Do you like a young and fun dining atmosphere? Here, introducing you the new Lucky Strike Restaurant, I m sure they will not disappoint you.
The old Lucky Strike Restaurant was located on SE 122nd and Powell, and now they moved to an energetic and busy place on SE Hawthorne and 39th, a brand new look with improved food and drink menu, I m sure you will be surprised.
Lucky Strike Restaurant carries a home-made Szechwan recipe, serving you the greatest Szechwan dishes, the spice will make you mouth watering and sweating at the same time, I m not a super fan of spicy food, but a little spice won't hurt :)
My photo work with Lucky Strike is now on the website, don't forget to check them out ;)
Have a "hot" week!

I love pasta! I think I can eat it everyday :)
Pastini Pastaria is one of my favorite place in Portland, not only because the price is reasonable, but also DELICIOUS! Unlike other Italian restaurants, I don't find their dishes too oily. (I personality like to eat light, so I think they are perfect for me)
Having my meeting at Pastini tonight , not a bad night.
Sorry for the noise, do not want to use flash :P
This is the one on SE Division:
The Antipasto Platter is my all time favorite :)

It was my pleasure to work for Jeff Lamp again, who is a principal of V3 Studio in Portland, Oregon. Jeff is a very experience interior and furniture designer, he has an extensive portfolio of award-winning projects throughout Oregon.
The following penthouse projects are designed by Jeff Lamp, it was my absolute pleasure to do these shots for him.
These penthouses are beautiful, I can totally see myself living in it :) What about you?

Just like last couple years, around the same time, my friends and I will get together for our best friends-Jeff and Jennifer's birthday dinner, we usually pick a new restaurant to try out, get together, relax and chit chat~
This time we picked the restaurant on 33rd and Division, called Lauro Kitchen. They serve unique, Mediterranean style dishes – the chef really like to use goat cheese and blue cheese in the dishes, I don't hate them, but I agree that not everyone love that strong taste, however, I think the chef used it wisely on the dishes, not too strong, and they were just right! I will recommend you to try it, if you like cheese :)
Oh yes, I would like to say Happy Birthday to all my friends and family whoever were born in fall, I wish you all have a wonderful birthday! (especially to my brother )
**This is what I order for the night: Culotte Steak with Yukon Gold Mashed Potatoes and Blue Cheese Butter. The Mashed Potatoes is super delicious!

The last day of the trip, we only have too little time, but so many things to do. Stanford university and Picchetti Winery were the last stop of our trip.
