Portland Fall, the Beauty of Orange.

All the sudden, the green city has turned to orange. I love the fall in Portland, graceful and romantic.

Lucky Strike Restaurant, Portland

Do you like spicy food?  Do you like Chinese food? Do you like a young and fun dining atmosphere? Here, introducing you the new Lucky Strike Restaurant, I m sure they will not disappoint you.

The old Lucky Strike Restaurant was located on SE 122nd and Powell, and now they moved to an energetic and busy place on SE Hawthorne and 39th, a brand new look with improved food and drink menu, I m sure you will be surprised.

Lucky Strike Restaurant carries a home-made Szechwan recipe, serving you the greatest Szechwan dishes, the spice will make you mouth watering and sweating at the same time, I m not a super fan of spicy food, but a little spice won't hurt :)

My photo work with Lucky Strike is now on the website, don't forget to check them out ;)

Pastini Pastaria

I love pasta! I think I can eat it everyday :)
Pastini Pastaria is one of my favorite place in Portland, not only because the price is reasonable, but also DELICIOUS! Unlike other Italian restaurants, I don't find their dishes too oily. (I personality like to eat light, so I think they are perfect for me)

Having my meeting at Pastini tonight , not a bad night.

Sorry for the noise, do not want to use flash :P
This is the one on SE Division:
The Antipasto Platter is my all time favorite :)
Spaghetti and Spicy Sausage
Linguine with Chicken Marsala

It was my pleasure to work for Jeff Lamp again, who is a principal of V3 Studio in Portland, Oregon. Jeff is a very experience interior and furniture designer, he has an extensive portfolio of award-winning projects throughout Oregon.
The following penthouse projects are designed by Jeff Lamp, it was my absolute pleasure to do these shots for him.
These penthouses are beautiful, I can totally see myself living in it :) What about you?

Dinner@ Lauro Mediterranean Kitchen (Portland)

Just like last couple years, around the same time, my friends and I will get together for our best friends-Jeff and Jennifer's birthday dinner, we usually pick a new restaurant to try out, get together, relax and chit chat~
This time we picked the restaurant on 33rd and Division, called Lauro Kitchen. They serve unique, Mediterranean style dishes – the chef really like to use goat cheese and blue cheese in the dishes, I don't hate them, but I agree that not everyone love that strong taste, however, I think the chef used it wisely on the dishes, not too strong, and they were just right! I will recommend you to try it, if you like cheese :)

Oh yes, I would like to say Happy Birthday to all my friends and family whoever were born in fall, I wish you all have a wonderful birthday! (especially to my brother )

**This is what I order for the night: Culotte Steak with Yukon Gold Mashed Potatoes and Blue Cheese Butter. The Mashed Potatoes is super delicious!

California - Part III (Santa Clara & San Francisco )

After the 6 hours drive, we finally got there. My friend, Lisa just moved to Santa Clara few months ago, so we got a nice and warm place to stay.

We did so many things in just 3 days, I will recommend all of them to you if you never been to San Francisco before.

1st Night:
Great America
The first thing we did for the night was the Haunted Night at Great America, we didn't plan for it tho, but it was so much fun! I have to admit that some of them scared the hell out of me! I was screaming NON STOP! ( I know, I m way too easy! isn't? ) ha, too bad that we didn't video tape the whole thing, otherwise it should be another funny AFV!
2nd Day:
we had our day fully booked, we went to Golden Gate Bridge in the morning, High Tea at Crown & Crumpet (Ghirardelli Square), and then Fishermen Wharf and Lombard Street.

Gear: LX3 & 5D mark ii

California- Part II (Road Trip to Santa Clara)

Woke up at 6am in the morning, Oh yes, we were so ready for our road trip to Santa Clara! Driving with my two cousins Rachel, Nicole, and my close friend Pearl, we were all excited about the road trip!
The reason why I wanted to do a road trip:
1) It is fun!
2) We can stop at anytime for pictures.
3) It's cheaper. =)
What car did I rent? ha, I rented a 2010 compact Hyundai with no power lock and power windows.....and the momentum of the car was not very well.....but you can't complain too much, they don't have much options for me, the great thing is....IT SAVES GAS! okay? ha

Here are some pictures I took on the way to Santa Clara:

California - Part I (Long Beach)

There are lots of thing I miss about California, the sunshine, the weather and of course my family :). I like Portland, but I do miss the California sunshine sometimes :)
I spent some quality time with my friends and family in this trip, I had a lot of fun, even is only a week though. The fun time makes me miss this place a little bit more.
Although I m on vacation, I will never stop taking pictures, I m always on duty! No matter what I have on my hand, (cellphone, LX3 or the 5D mark ii. ).
